Fulcrum Industrial Solutions Limited respects your personal privacy. Fulcrum Industrial Solutions Limited is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients (your/you) and users Personal Information that you have provided to us. It is important for you to know what Personal Information we obtain and how this information is processed. We do not sell or pass on personal data. 

Information We May Collect About You 

1. Information provided to us from you – Personal Information that you provide to us such as using our training service, filling out the “Join Our Team” form on our website or sending a CV via LinkedIn. This includes your name, email address and other contact details. Personal information you send to info@ address may not be encrypted. 

2. Our correspondence – If you contact us, typically via email, a record of that correspondence may be retained on our email system. 

3. Website and Communication – Please refer to Note 1 in Appendix A – Data Audit. 

4. Device Information – We collect some information when you use our training service. Such information includes your operating system, browser, log in/log out details and IP address to improve your experience and support the functionality of our training service. 

Legal Justification of Using Personal Data

Please refer to Appendix A for a comprehensive list of the data stored and its legal justification as part of a Data Audit. 

Retention of Personal Information 

The retention duration for Personal Information is based on the requirements of the business and legal requirements. The Personal Information will be held as long as required, based on the type of data provided, for its original intended purpose(s). If Personal Information has passed beyond the minimum retention period, then the data is either destroyed (hard copy), permanently deleted (electronic copy) or the data is archived in a secure storage location (only if the business still needs to hold it). 

Transfer of Data Outside the EU 

As a company we don’t send Personal Information outside the EU, as our services only operate within the EU. However, we use cloud/web-based services such as Dropbox, and SharePoint on a regular basis. These servers for these services may be located outside the EU. An assessment of the security and use of these services has been conducted as part of Fulcrum Data Audit. 

Updating Information 

We will take reasonable undertakings to ensure that the Personal Information that you have provided to us is accurate and up-to-date. If you wish to update/change any Personal Information that you have provided to us, you should contact us using the details provided in the “Contacting Us” section. 

Your Rights 

If you have any questions in relation to our use of your Personal Information, you should first contact us. Under certain circumstances, you may have the right to require us to: 

1. a) provide you with further details on how we use your information 
2. b) provide you with a copy of information that you have provided to us 
3. c) update any errors/inaccuracies in the Personal Information we hold 
4. d) delete any Personal Information the we no longer have a legal ground to use 
5. e) where processing is based on consent, to withdraw your consent so that we stop that particular processing 
6. f) object to any information processing based on the legitimate interests ground unless our reasons for undertaking that processing outweigh any prejudice to your data protection rights 
7. g) restrict how we use your information whilst a complaint is being investigated 

Your application of these rights is subject to certain exemptions to safeguard the public interest and our interests. If you use any of these rights, we will check your entitlement and respond as soon as possible.
